Most car leather has a protective top coat; dirt and body oils wear it away faster than age does. Wipe seats with a damp microfibre every couple of weeks, and use a dedicated leather cleaner when they look shiny or feel tacky.
Condition lightly after cleaning — more is not better — and use a sun shade in summer. Heat and UV dry leather and fade it unevenly.
