One-step paint enhancement
A single machine polish that brings back depth and removes light swirls.
An enhancement is one polishing stage, chosen to remove the lightest defects with the least paint. It suits cars that are looked after but have lost their sharpness.
We read the paint depth first, test a small area to pick the pad and polish, and only then work the whole car.
How it is done.
- 1Wash and decontaminateFoam pre-soak, two-bucket wash, iron fallout remover and clay. Polishing over grit puts new scratches in.
- 2Measure the paintA gauge reads the paint depth on every panel, so we know how much clear coat there is to work with before a pad touches it.
- 3Correct under studio lightCompound, then polish, one panel at a time under lights that show swirls, holograms and haze.
- 4Strip the oilsA panel wipe removes polishing oils that would hide defects and stop a coating bonding.
- 5Coat and cureThe coating goes on in sections, is levelled, and cures overnight indoors before the car goes home.
Often booked with it.
